The Miniature Fornace collection revives the ancient craft of handmade cotto brick in a porcelain tile, balancing old-world appeal and contemporary styling though modern technology. The highlight of this 2.5” x 9.5” small-format tile is its subtly coarse surface that is amazingly smooth to the touch and is made in six colors curated for today’s interiors. The indentation in the decorative option, known as the “frog”, is a distinctive feature of traditional brick-making. The indentation was intentionally added to reduce the brick’s weight, making it easier handle, and provide a space for the manufacturer’s name or trademark.
