The Chianti collection revives the rustic, old world appeal of terracotta in porcelain, and just like terracotta, porcelain is environmentally friendly and renewable due to its earthly components. The colors are inspired by the natural effects of the clay being fired at different temperatures. As the temperatures get hotter, the iron reacts within the clay producing shades of beige, brown, gray or peach. Distinctive surface irregularities and shade variations give Chianti 5” x 10” tiles an authentic weathered look.
