Garden State Tile couldn’t exist without the very people it serves, so, “Thank you.” But we’re not here just to do business, we’re also here to help.

Because the industry is constantly changing (designs, styles, “green interiors and products”) we host events on and off site throughout the year. Educational, inspirational, and fun. See below to find out what's coming up and when. You can also view previous events and photos below.

"Mansion in May" is opening May 1.

Area designers and landscapers donated their time to redecorate this spectacular property.  Garden State Tile is honored to be chosen by Curren Design Associmansion in may 2012ates of Medham, NJ as a stone resource for this prestigious event. The stone used on the fireplace is GST Silver Cloud 6" x 12" with coordinating ogee chair rail skillfully cut and installed to reflect the original trim around the windows.

The Mansion is open to general public: Tuesday, May 1 – Thursday, May 31, 2012. For hours and tickets, click here.

Our March Madness Event at GST Berlin, New Jersey held on March 29 had a great turnout! Everyone enjoyed wings, pizza and a cold beer and everyone went home with a door prize donated generously by Schluter Systems, Miracle Sealants, Dewalt Power Tools, Flextherm Floor Warming , Barwalt Tools, Fila Cleaners and Tec Products.

A big Thank You to the GST Berlin staff including Chris Benek who helped make our night such a success!!!

AIA Event Hosted by GST
GST Philly Design Center held its first AIA (American Institute of Architects) event on 03/22/12. GST welcomed about 60 attendees, including architects, designers, students, and AIA affiliated members. Crossville and GST were proud to provide wine and cheese refreshments during the before and after networking . Origins Glass and Structure were on debut. Five students gave elevator pitches, and then a panel of prestigious trade people judged their presentations. Facebook and Twitter were used throughout the night. That way, even the people who could not attend could be involved with comments and questions. It was a great event. Thank you to Crossville, and everyone who attended!  See more on our Facebook Page.

The "Mansion in May" is the WAMMC’s (Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center) most significant fundraiser. Proceeds from this event will help fund a $2.5 million innovative inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Morristown Medical Center designed with a residential atmosphere for seriously ill patients.

This year's "mansion" is Glynallyn, a 32,000 square foot castle in Morris Township, New Jersey.  This turn-of-the-century castle was modeled after Compton Wynyates in England and is on the National Register of Historical Places. Glynallyn is considered one of the most impressive examples of English Tudor architecture in the country.

Garden State Tile is honored to be chosen by one of the participating Interior Design Firms as a stone and tile resource for this prestigious event. The Mansion is open to general public: Tuesday, May 1 – Thursday, May 31, 2012. For hours and tickets, click here.

GST Design Center of Berlin, NJ, hosted NKBA's monthly meeting Tuesday, February 22.  Over 30 NKBA members received a lesson in color theory, the psychology of color and color trends for 2012 all presented by Louis Shaw of Accent Designs.  Everyone enjoyed delicious food provided by Joe Iacometta, relaxed with some wine and mingled.  The meeting was a great success.  Here is what NBKA President (Mid-Atlantic Chapter), Anna Maria Vona shared:

"On behalf of the entire NKBA board, we would like to thank both of you (Christy Iacometta, GST Berlin and Denis Kovalich, GST Philadelphia) for a wonderful event this past Tuesday evening.

Your showroom was warm and welcoming and your staff was friendly and enthusiastic.

The bountiful buffet not only looked fantastic, but tasted absolutely phenomenal!  Our hats off to the Chef!

We hope that you garner some increased business from this event -- keep us posted.

Again, thanks to both of you and your hardworking staff for a flawless evening."

Garden State Tile's new Architectural & Design Center located at 2401 Walnut Street in Philadelphia is now open!  Our very first event held on December 8 was a huge success!  The turn-out was great, and over and over again you could hear the compliments and see the expressions of admiration for this spectacular 5,000 square foot tile and stone design center.  You couldn't help feel the excitement and enthusiasm from everyone.

Garden State Tile's design team and work crew did an exceptional job creating this beautiful, upscale Architectural & Design Center. We also want to thank the many contractors and tile installers for their meticulous work and fervent effort to get everything done before the event.

Thank you everyone for attending and showing your support of Garden State Tile.
